DAWN is the only organization in the metro Washington DC area that is empowering Deaf people to address violence in the Deaf community.

- build and maintain effective communication systems including our hot line, and pager and TTY access
- carry out our outreach, education and training program in the Deaf and Hearing communities
- Maintain and expand our Network Advocates Program
