Survivor Support Program
DAWN’s Survivor Support Program includes the services of a Network Advocate. The Advocate is Deaf and fluent in American Sign Language. She can help you develop a safety plan and find out what services and resources you need. Then she can accompany you to appointments that you make to get services and information.
DAWN has a 24 hour TTY hotline. You can call this hotline at any time and an advocate or DAWN staff will return the call. You can also email DAWN at info15@deafdawn.org. This email will be answered by staff and/or referred to an Advocate for response.
DAWN offers Survivor Support Groups, facilitated by licensed Deaf counselors. These groups meet weekly. Contact us if you would like to join a group or learn more about it.
