Provides equality advocacy, social events, benefits, support groups, and health forums to the GLBT community. GLCCB also collaborates with local community organizations to address a variety of health, recovery, mental health, legal, political, and social issues.  GLCCB also maintains multiple programs for women, lesbians, bisexuals, and women of color, transgender, men, gay fathers, gender identity group, partners, youths, and others.

 

Women in the Life Association: Social Justice for Lesbians of Color

WITLA is a social justice organization advancing the rights of lesbians of colors through cultural affirmation, education and advocacy.  The primary target population is African American, Latina, Native American & Asian Pacific Islander lesbians 21 years of age and older. Their secondary target populations are gay men of color, white women and LGBTQ organizations.   WITLA works to improve programs and services offered by organizations to lesbians of color; strengthen education and advocacy efforts.
