CPS is dedicated to 1) protecting the child(ren) and assist the parents in providing proper care and attention to the child, and to remedy and decrease the risk of continuing abuse and neglect, and 2) provide alternate plan of care for the child when the parents are unable to provide proper care and attention to the child; 3) protect children from abuse and neglect through community and team efforts.

Provides full health benefits for children up to the age of 19 (who do not have Medicaid), and pregnant women of any age who meet the income guidelines.  Applications available at local department of social services, WIC centers, and local hospitals & schools. 

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program

Provides family planning, preconception health, and teen pregnancy services to young people. Reaches out to serve youths at risk for unintended pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and high-risk behaviors. Also includes counseling, support, education and care. Free or low cost services for young men and women up to the age of 24.
