Dear Friends,

 The holiday season is quickly approaching and, through our Holiday Drive, Deaf Abused Women’s Network (DAWN) invites you to join us in giving our most disadvantaged families a wonderful reason to celebrate during this difficult time.

 For many struggling families who endure domestic violence and sexual violence, having a safe and special holiday can be well beyond their reach. However, from with support from people in the community like you, we can bring a smile to the faces of these children and families.

 In the past year, we have provided services to over 225 survivors and children. DAWN advocates work closely with these families to build safe and stable homes. You can help them create these homes by joining us for the Holiday Drive. 

Gifts we are looking for:

  • clothes for boys (newborn to age 3)
  • newborn boy clothes for late-winter to summer (0-6 months)
  • toys for children up to age 5 (coloring books, crayons, dolls, cars, etc)
  • women's gloves and scarves
  • body soap/lotion, feminine products
  • picture frames
  • gift cards to: Target, Old Navy, Safeway, Giants, Starbucks, CVS

DAWN is a small organization that, unfortunately, does not have storage to keep large donated items.  We accept donations on an as-need basis.
